Those diseases in which one or all the functions of the colon (secretory, absorption, motor) are damaged are the subject of colonic hydrotherapy indications. Thus, the BENEFITS of hydrocolonotherapy are grouped according to medical conditions:
a. specific to the large intestine (by affecting one and / or all its functions)
b. specific to other organs (apparatus / systems that can be improved by the proper functioning of the colon):
• hepato-biliary diseases - flatulence can be reduced,
• respiratory allergies - elimination of possible allergens formed in the colon,
• obesity by correcting constipation,

About the consultation and procedure:
For a start, a doctor-patient dialogue takes place (anamnesis) to establish:
• the patient's personal pathological history,
• the reason for which it is addressed,
• the opportunity to apply colon hydrotherapy.
Other useful information about the colon hydrootherapy procedure:
o The average duration of a session is about 45 minutes and consists of the infusion of purified water in the colon via the rectum.
o The water temperature is between 30-40 degrees (Celsius). Water pressure and temperature are constantly monitored.
o It should be noted that all instruments that encounter the patient are disposable.
o The procedure is performed in a closed system, which allows the entire intestinal contents to be transported in the evacuation system, protecting people from unpleasant odors.
o During a session the tandem "infusion-evacuation" is repeated several times and is accompanied by a light abdominal massage.
The procedure is gentle and painless. You will be lying on the bed and connected to the device (colonic machine). The filtered water that fills the colon is introduced and in a short time you will perceive a feeling of "full". The water is evacuated with all the residues encountered in the way. The infusion-discharge tandem is repeated several times until the water comes out of the body clean.
There is a protocol that we recommend to you before performing colon hydrotherapy:
• 1-2 days before, it is not recommended to eat foods that are difficult to digest or bloat,
• we recommend avoiding the consumption of carbonated drinks,
• the night before, you can administer a laxative,
• the last meal you serve is recommended to be taken at least 3 hours before the procedure.
After performing the hydrotherapy session, it is recommended:
• fasting for several hours;
• resuming food in small quantities or eating meals rich in enzymes, green juices, and salads.
